Musical Theater Program at MHP

June 13, 2011

I'm quite excited that the summer program will be moving to the new School of Music and Art at the The Mexican Heritage Plaza (MHP). For those of you that have never seen it, it is one of the crown cultural jewels of San Jose. What the plaza offers is space that was specifically designed for the performing and visual arts.

Through a special arrangement with the School of Music and Art, students will be taking theater and music instruction in two separate classroom spaces. Dance will be taught in the beautiful Pavillion. The musical theater program will culminate into performance at the Plaza's state of the art 500 seat theater.

Below are pictures of the Plaza as well as the grounds that are enclosed within the Plaza's structure. I look forward to seeing the students this summer and having another incredible summer performing arts program.
