Davied Morales

Davied Morales is an actor and rapper from San Jose, California; the artist name he goes by is Dav @activepoet. He has been rapping for almost 10 years, releasing both mixtapes and singles within this span of time. He started focusing seriously on his music career in 2016. Before that, he spent most of time working on his acting career - getting his degree, starring in short films, app commercials, and lead roles in theaters all around the Bay Area. In 2017, he starred in a play, Brownsville Song (B-side for Tray) at Shotgun Players in Berkeley California, and released two EP's, October 32nd and Superbloom, all of which got him featured in Content Magazine, The San Jose Mercury, The Metro Silicon Valley, The SF Chronicle, and more. He is currently prepping for 2018 where he plans to release a song a week and at least one music video a month.

Major funding for these workshops is provided by: Applied Materials Foundation and The County of Santa Clara.
